Best experience I have ever had in recovery. The staff is very discreet and extremely helpful and caring. Program is tailored to each persons individual needs. Gave me daily and weekly structure and accountability while allowing me freedom to take care of my responsibilities to get back on track! Nice private residential setting with every amenity I needed. Highly recommend! Love the salt water therapy.

They helped a lot with my close relative's addiction and mental state. People at "Changing Tides" are real professionals and they know what they are doing. Some time has passed and I can now clearly see positive results and I would like to thank them

I came into changing tides strung out on heroin and cocaine. My heart was completely empty and my spirit was crushed. I was out of answers and needed help. I had been through 12 other treatment centers and could not break the vicious cycle of addiction and my family had nothing to do with me for quite some time. The second I walked through the doors I was treated with respect and love which was so comforting to someone who had just experienced a phase of my life where there was none. It was so refreshing to be treated like a human again. Through the combination of interactive groups, one on one counseling, therapy 2x a week, yoga, gym and they even went out of their way to take me surfing 2x a week I was able to gain the tools to really once and for all break the cycle of addiction, but most of all have fun living life again. My therapist reunited me with my mother and helped me to understand what I had put my family through and also recover as a cohesive unit again. I can not thank the team (scot, crystal, ginni, Trevor and most of all Berkely and Stephanie) enough. The 5 star chef Justin was unbelievable going the extra mile to accommodate everyone and their diet with mouth watering meals. It has been a very long road from the day I walked in the doors there to where I stand today, but I could not have done it without the help of Changing tides treatment. Thank you so much; I have my life back.

Changing Tides and their staff, truly are the best of the best when it comes to figuring out the formula on finding and maintaining long term soberity. My son has been hardcore addict for a decade and been thru countless programs, treatment centers, incarseration, you name it, in search for his sobriety. All of which failed him. And then we found Changing Tides... Stephanie and Berkeley genuinely love this work and it shows in their clients success. They have been instrumental in my sons desire to want to work and maintain his soberity. They also continually do the research not only to help their clients understand why this disease effects addicts, but why sometimes it effects different people in different ways..... Knowledgeable and professional but also the coolest and easiest people to work with. I highly recommend Changing Tides if you are serious about getting sober. And want to enjoy life again. 🙂

SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT

Our team of Board Certified Addiction Doctors’ will connect you with our partners that will customize a sub-acute detox program that is tailored to you. Once we connect you with a Sub-Acute Detox program they can help manage severe withdrawal symptoms and drug cravings by providing a safe and secure manner for removing these dangerous toxins from the bloodstream in a slow and controlled way. Changing Tides Treatment’s will help you find a Sub Acute Detox program that will help you to detox we then bring you to our facility to set individuals up for a successful recovery from substance use and dependency via the use of therapy and multiple modalities.

Sub-acute detox may utilize medications in order to maintain a safe physical balance by managing withdrawal symptoms and curbing cravings. Counseling and therapy sessions can also help to modify negative or self-destructive thoughts and behaviors in order to help achieve a healthier emotional state. Holistic, or alternative methods, may also be useful and effective when employed during sub-acute detox programs in reducing relapse rates and improving overall well-being. The particular sub-acute detox program that is right for you may depend on your level of dependency and length of time abusing substances as well as the type of substance abused.

CHANGING TIDES TREATMENT IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH OUR CLOSE NETWORK OF RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITIES TO PROVIDE DETOXIFICATION AND RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT SERVICES.  FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL US AT 1-844-88-DETOX

Our outpatient level of treatment allows patients to carry on with their routine while receiving face to face services for addiction and mental health with professionals. This treatment is ideal for those that have a job or a healthy support system at home.

We recommend outpatient services as the continuum of care after graduating our other four levels of treatment.

A residential treatment center, sometimes called a rehab, is a live-in health care facility providing therapy for substance abuse, mental illness, or other behavioral challenges.

The intensive therapeutic services offered by residential treatment centers require individuals seeking treatment to leave their homes and reside in a treatment facility for the duration of therapy.

In many cases, environmental challenges interfere with the recovery process. Our residential level of care will provide a safe and comfortable environment to help you get the recovery you need. At Changing Tides Treatment Center in Malibu, you will enjoy the incredible healing views of the Pacific Ocean outside your bedroom window.

Day treatment, also known as partial hospitalization program (PHP), usually lasts about 30 days. A PHP provides a less intensive level of treatment than inpatient or residential program but is more intensive than an outpatient program.

This modality, or method of treatment, is an alternative to hospitalization and offers the flexibility to deal with an extensive range of conditions.

PHP treatment can happen in a residential treatment facility or an outpatient setting.

Intensive outpatient programs or (IOPs) are treatment programs used to address substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. This includes depression, eating disorders, or other many other dependencies that do not require detoxification or round-the-clock supervision.

Sober living homes are an excellent option for individuals in recovery, as they encourage residents to develop healthy coping skills and habits for when they return home. A sober living home operates as a bridge between an inpatient facility and reintegration into society.
